WebFeb 25, 2006 · I might suggest as a cleaning agent for the face plate. Mcguires Swirl polish it is a fancy auto paint rubbing compound. It will deep clean the aluminum without damaging the anodizing or lettering. I use a soft cotton cloth and rub it in line with the grain of the face plate.
