The Prologue Publications Limited is a publishing and education company providing free personalised stories and resources that excite, empower, inspire and improve the well-being of children. In this Privacy Policy, we’ve provided lots of detailed information on when and why we collect your personal information, how we use it, the limited conditions under which we may disclose it to others and how we keep it secure.

Types of Data We Collect

Payment is processed using Stripe or PayPal and order information will be stored securely on Stripe or PayPal servers dependent on customer payment choice, further information can be seen at: Stripe’s privacy policy and PayPal’s privacy policy.  When donating a book an electronic receipt will be sent to the email provided, further emails may be sent to you regarding the status of your order.

As part of the mailing list registration process the information you submit will be used to send you free personalised stories, educational resources, promotions and offers. The Information collected is first name, last name, email address. We don’t rent or trade email lists with other organisations and businesses and the information you provide us will be kept for 10 years, at which point we will contact you for further consent.

We use a third-party provider, MailChimp, to deliver our personalised stories, community packs and updates. We gather statistics around email opening and clicks using industry standard technologies to help us monitor and improve our email promotions. We collect data from visitor comments consisting of name, email address and website(optional), and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection. This is stored securely on WordPress.
